Sam Ghansah
Sam
Ghansah hails from a family whose reputation has long been
sown within the musical archives of Ghana, a west African
Nation. The late sixties and early seventies, his uncle, Nana
Essoh, lead singer of the Workers Brigade Band, released various
national highlife hits. It's no wonder Sam embraces a diversified
range of musical rhythms, from spiritual, roots reggae, highlife
to Agbadza, as he expresses a message of universal appeal
through a soulful melodic voice.
In
the bitter cold winter of 1996 within the "Shark Bite
Studios" in Chicago, Sam Ghansah and Gizzae (comprised
of Reggae recordings international household names) would
give reggae a whole different interpretation. His "One
Love System" CD, with hits "Roots of Love",
"African Warrior", "False Game", "Book
of Life", and "Give Me a Reason", could be
one of reggae's most inspirational and melodic collectibles.
After the release of "One Love System" Sam's experiences
and inspirations made way for the creation of his new release
"Jah Had A Reason". His intellectual approach to
reason and understanding are a positive influence to those
who share in his every day life. His love for music and respect
for human nature are passionately interpreted in his songs.
His melodies and lyrics will invoke your musical passions
and his rhythms will jump start your physical energies. It
is truly unique and a welcomed change in the spirit of Reggae!
